Courtney began her journey at Wood River Animal Hospital in May 2007 as our Lead Receptionist. Through her dedication, leadership, and deep commitment to patient care, she transitioned into her current role as Practice Manager in October 2012. In this role, she supports our doctors, technicians, and reception team each day to help ensure everything runs smoothly and that both patients and clients receive the best possible experience.
She holds a degree in Business Administration & Management and continues to expand her knowledge by attending continuing education through Patterson Veterinary University and American Veterinary Medical Association conferences whenever possible. Courtney is also proud to serve on the IACUC (Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee) at the University of Rhode Island, helping to oversee and promote the ethical and humane care and use of animals in research and education.
At home, Courtney stays busy with her rescued cat, Buoy, along with her fish, hamster, and a lively flock of chickens. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family near the water, gardening, and advocating for the Autoimmune & Celiac Support Association.
