Dr. Schuelke grew up right in Richmond, Rhode Island and even worked at Wood River Animal Hospital as a technician prior to graduating from the University of Rhode Island with her Animal Science degree in 2016.
Dr. Kelley grew up in West Kingston and moved to the Richmond area while in college. She graduated with a degree in Animal Science: Pre-Vet from the University of Rhode Island in 2017. During that time, she gained veterinary technical experience at several southern Rhode Island animal hospitals. She attended and graduated Midwestern University in Arizona with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in June 2022. She has a passion for integrative medicine and dentistry, and plans to further her education in these fields in upcoming years.
Wood River Animal Hospital is excited to welcome Dr. Becky Cauchon, a 2025 graduate of Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Cauchon’s passion for animals of all kinds shines through in her care — from cats and dogs to more exotic companions.
Dr. Boy grew up in Southeastern New Hampshire and received a BA in Microbiology and MS in Animal Science from the University of New Hampshire in Durham. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1987, then completed a Large Animal Surgery Internship at Cornell University in 1988, and a Residency in Large Animal Internal Medicine at University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1990.
Dr. Diamanti graduated from St. George’s University and completed an ambulatory and surgical internship at Rhinebeck Equine. It was the experience and knowledge she gained during her internship that led Dr. Diamanti to pursue certification in integrative therapies.
Courtney began her journey at Wood River Animal Hospital in May 2007 as our Lead Receptionist. Through her dedication, leadership, and deep commitment to patient care, she transitioned into her current role as Practice Manager in October 2012. In this role, she supports our doctors, technicians, and reception team each day to help ensure everything runs smoothly and that both patients and clients receive the best possible experience.
Angelo arrived at Wood River Animal Hospital with no resume, no references, and absolutely no intention of working - but somehow still got hired full-time. His official title is “Hospital Cat,” but his real job description includes: supervising humans, interrupting productivity, and reminding everyone that they are, in fact, working for him.
